Connecting the Dots Between Oral Health & Nutrition: A Holistic Approach

RDH UOR 2013 There is so much misinformation on nutrition these days that it’s no wonder many of us are confused! The most common diseases we see our patients being treated for are heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and autoimmune disease. With these diagnoses come a variety of medications to treat the disease, but often with medication comes the burden of side effects. What if the food we ate could actually help prevent or even cure disease? In this course, you will learn about a variety of popular diets, GERD, food allergies/sensitivities, leaky gut, pH, glycemic index/load, oral probiotics, inflammatory foods, antioxidants and periodontal disease and more.
