At Wendell Family Dentistry I have had the opportunity to seek out, implement and now continue to grow our GBT program. This is a career highlight that is growing into sharing what I have and am learning with other offices. I have a passion for lifetime learning. I knew from a very young age that Dental Hygiene was the career for me. I believe we can make a difference in patient’s lives and help them reach their health goals. We are educators and motivators. We get back as much, if not more than we give. I realized early on that not everyone has the passion for their career path that I do. It is important to me to connect with dental professionals that do want to make a difference. When we connect, we can do so much more.I also enjoy spending time with my family, growing in my faith and traveling. I am learning healthy balance and enjoying life to the fullest. Patients are smarter than ever and more aware that dentistry is a service, an art, and not a commodity. They value dentistry that saves them time, appointments, and is comfortable. Technology allows us to diagnose those patients more accurately and treat them faster with significantly less discomfort. My background is in chemistry and I obtained my dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
