What do you do when a patient comes to your office with an old implant restoration that you did not place or can’t find any information about? With over 40 years of dental implants and restorations being placed and over 600 implant identifying unknown implants seems near impossible. This course will cover a protocol used to identify implants by X-ray and photos. It will demonstrate methods of evaluation, and ways to find out if parts are still available by the identified manufacturer or a supplemental supplier.
