Since its 2015 US launch, the adoption of Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) into clinical practice has been faster than the adoption of the electric hand piece. You may already own a bottle and have experience placing it on a number of patients. Now you’re ready to take your SDF game to the next level. Dr. MacLean will review the clinical assessment of SDF treated lesions, reapplication considerations, and decision making on when/why to place a restoration. Learn how to expand your use of SDF to more advanced carious lesions and complex cases such as Molar Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH). This course will review case studies and clinical protocols you can immediately implement into your clinical practice.
