Turner, BASDH, RDHEP, EFDA, affectionately known as @thetoothgirl, is a fresh force of change and is on a powerful mission to transform the future of dentistry for both patient and practitioner. An award-winning speaker, key opinion influencer, and hygienist, Melissa represents a new generation in dentistry through a focus on inclusion, practitioner well-being, and innovative technology. She is a 2022 recipient of the Sunstar Award of Distinction and is a top dental content creator nationwide. Melissa works closely with companies and DSOs to drive conversations on brand strategy and development.
Chief hygiene officer and director of social strategy for Cellerant Consulting Group, she leads the Cellerant Best of Class Hygiene Awards, an unbiased, non-profit assessment of available technologies and products in the dental space. An expert in teledentistry and mobile healthcare delivery, Turner is cofounder of the National Mobile & Teledentistry Conference and is a founding board member of the American Mobile & Teledentistry Alliance, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit membership association.

Michael A. Miyasaki, DDS, practices general dentistry in Sacramento, California, where he began 35 years ago. He considers his practice a typical family practice and often sees three generations of families. He also lectures internationally on restorative materials and techniques, endodontics, dental lasers, facial aesthetics, occlusion and dental implants. He is the Director of Education for the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, the Chief Education Officer for the Academy of Minimally Invasive Implantology, the Chief Dental Officer at Vista Apex Dental Materials and consults with many other manufacturers. He enjoys sharing with his colleagues in hopes of improving their professional fulfillment and their patient’s satisfaction.
Dr. Robert A. Lowe

Dr. Robert A. Lowe received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1982, where he graduated magna cum laude and second in his class. After graduating, he completed a one-year residency program at Edward Hines Veterans Administration Hospital. He received postgraduate training in different areas of dental care, including restorative and rehabilitative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and sedation dentistry, completing a rotation in surgical anesthesia. He served for 10 years in a full and part time capacity as an Associate Clinical Professor of Restorative and Rehabilitative Dentistry at Loyola.
Dr. Lowe went into private practice in Chicago after completing his residency, at which time he began to pursue another passion: clinical teaching. While running his own practice, Dr. Lowe served as a part-time lecturer of restorative and rehabilitative dentistry at Loyola University School of Dentistry. In 2000, he relocated to Charlotte. Dr. Lowe’s dedication to educating the dental professionals of the future has led to a number of honors, and he continues to be in demand for professional dental care lectures given his expertise and insight. Dr. Lowe has lectured at all of the major dental meetings in the United States, including the American Dental Association Annual Meeting, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Society of Dental Aesthetics. In 2005, he was nominated to receive Diplomate status on the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry. This is an honor shared by fewer than 50 dentists in the entire United States.
Throughout his career, Dr. Lowe has also written hundreds of articles on dental care and dental health topics, many of which have appearance in highly-regarded professional dental publications. He has published a monthly column in Dental Products Report and was a contributing author to the recent textbook Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry – Principals and Practice. He consistently appears on Dentistry Today’s annual list of “Top 100 Clinicians In Dentistry.”
