UOR 2014 This program focuses on the key role hygienists play in ultimate patient care and reversing disease. Demystify the myth of “once it’s gone it’s gone” and understand the possibilities of true regeneration. The program provides tips and tools to optimizing periodontal therapy and explores the advances, capabilities, and benefits of periodontal regeneration. Emphasis will be placed on effective treatment protocols and how biologic modifiers, particularly enamel matrix derivatives, are used to regenerate lost hard and soft tissue. Establishing effective practice and patient communication to enhance case presentation and case acceptance of these therapies is a highlight of the program. Join us for an interactive discussion on the evolution of periodontal and regenerative therapies, and the significant impact these therapies have on comprehensive care dentistry.
