This lecture consolidates published recommendations from authoritative government agencies as well as regulatory bodies and professional associations. Topics of focus are: instrument set up, design of the sterilization area, five stations of processing instruments, cleaning equipment, packaging/pouches/cassettes, sterilizer options, and biological monitors.
