This webinar will discuss how different fluorides work and which are most effective in different clinical situations. A review will be given of what additional steps can be taken to provide a comprehensive preventive plan and aid in early detection of soft spot lesions; thus helping avoid more invasive treatments. He is an editorial director and columnist for Dental Economics focusing on dental products and technology. Dr. Austin lectures around the country to study clubs and dental meetings about these topics along with online reputation management and social media. Dr. Austin is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and spent five years post-graduation as faculty in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Katie is from Connecticut and has been practicing dental hygiene for 9 years. She graduated in 2009 with Associates degree from Briarwood College and received her Masters in Dental Hygiene in 2016 from University of Bridgeport. Katie works as a Public Health Hygienist for CHC,INC. and has been President of ADHA CT and active in ADHA. She also writes for RDH Magazine and enjoys volunteering at dental events in her community.
