Presented as a companion to the lecture Achieving Local Anesthesia Success, this hands-on practicum will guide participants through visualizing key anatomical principles, animating new techniques and ergonomic principles, experiencing the proper handling of select products, and discuss individual barriers to confidence and success in achieving adequate local anesthesia. Learning stations, with the use of simulators, will address relevant anatomy, alternatives to common injections, and the proper use of eutectic topical anesthetic preparations.
