RDH Evening Express September 20, 2017 This webinar is designed to assist hygienists in evaluating the multitude of desensitizing agents available for home use and in-office application. Causes of dentin hypersensitivity will be discussed, as well as the criteria for product selection, based on individual patient needs. The webinar will include protocols for evaluating patients, developing treatment strategies and assessing which type of desensitizer would provide optimal results for the patient. Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to: Identify various causes of dentin hypersensitivity. Develop a protocol for screening patients for dentin hypersensitivity that will be the basis for treatment planning. Evaluate currently available desensitizers and their intended application.
