- Differentiate between various types of dentures (complete, partial, implant-supported, immediate, and overdentures) based on structure, function, and patient suitability.
- Identify common harmful microorganisms such as Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus that colonize dentures and explain their potential impact on systemic and oral health.
- Demonstrate proper denture hygiene techniques, including brushing, soaking, and storage, using evidence-based tools and products.
