Dental hygiene diagnosis is an essential part of our practice. The Commission on Dental Accreditation says dental hygiene diagnosis is the “identification of an existing or potential oral health problem that a dental hygienist is qualified or licensed to treat.” We are educated to do much more in the dental office than we may be doing. This course will review what you can start doing on Monday with dental hygiene diagnosis. Practical examples will include diagnosis and management of dentin hypersensitivity, caries and dry mouth.
