UOR 2014 One of the major responsibilities of a dental hygienist is to examine the structures of the head, neck, and oral cavity for possible pathologic conditions. This course is designed to offer the hygienist an opportunity to refresh one’s memory of the etiology, clinical/radiographic features, differential diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of a variety of oral pathoses. The management of these lesions will be discussed in terms of proper client handling, referral sources, and post-treatment care.
