DESCRIPTION:This course will dive into some of the advanced topics in dental zirconia that will be relevant for clinicians and laboratories who use this material for restorative dentistry. The different generations of zirconia will be described along with the irrelevant clinical properties. The fabrication technique of zirconia pucks will be described to explain the differences between brands of zirconia.  The sintering process will be explained to explain the importance of proper protocol by a dental laboratory. Finally\, the evidence for zirconia bonding will be be provided.
